Mail

USPS does not deliver to street addresses in Borrego Springs. As a Borrego resident, you are qualified to receive a no-fee PO Box. If you decide to open a local PO Box, please see the formatting below that best shows how to enter your shipping address to ensure that you always receive your packages.

If you’d like a larger PO Box size than the smallest no-fee size offers, you can reserve a new PO Box on the USPS website here with the option of paying for 3, 6, or 12 months. PO Box sizes and costs vary.

FedEx, UPS, and a few other carriers do deliver to street addresses. You do not need to register these two vendors with the kiosk staff. All other vendors require preregistration with kiosk staff or they will be denied entry.

If you’re unsure as to which carrier will be delivering your package, use the following format for your delivery address to ensure your package will not be returned as undeliverable:

Vendors

One of the challenges of living in a rural community can be access to amenities and vendors.

We recommend that owners purchase a copy of the Borrego Springs Directory (available at Desert Pantry, Ermelinda's Salon, Borrego Outfitters, and Graphics You Can Trust in The Center Mall) published annually by the Borrego Springs Soroptimist Club. This directory contains local vendor information. Some vendors are also listed on the Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce website. Please click here to access their Business Directory page. 

Because Borrego is an isolated community, there is a small pool of vendors to choose from, especially licensed/insured vendors. If you need to utilize someone out of town, the work/repairs may take longer and cost more.

Please note that Borrego Springs may be out of the service area from vendors you are accustomed to using.
